Mixproof Leakage Type Butterfly Valves

Also referred to as “double block and bleed” butterfly valves the Saniquip mixproof leakage butterfly valves provide “double safety” ensuring that secure separation of media that must not mix (e.g. product & CIP) is safely maintained. Two completely separate butterfly discs are switched in parallel by a common operator (manually or pneumatically driven) providing a double barrier. Additionally, the integrity of the seals can be monitored by means of the leakage valve outlet ensuring that any seal failure can be detected and remedied without unwanted mixing occurring. The combination of these two safety features ensures optimum protection against mixing. An integral CIP rinsing valve is available for the cleaning of the leakage chamber.
