Constant Pressure Valve

The Saniquip SCP constant pressure valves offer a simple method of maintaining a constant inlet or outlet pressure in process lines. They are remotely controlled using compressed air and require only a compressed air regulating valve and pressure gauge in the line for operation. An internal diaphragm and plug assembly reacts to any change in product pressure adjusting its position so that the preset pressure is maintained.

Two versions are available:

  • Model SCP-1 maintains a constant pressure in the process line at the inlet side of the valve. This valve opens with increasing product pressure and closes with reducing product pressure.
  • Model SCP-2 maintains a constant pressure in the process line at the outlet side of the valve. The valve closes with increasing product pressure and opens with reducing product pressure.

All product contact surfaces are in AISI 316L stainless steel. The diaphragm is in PTFE covered EPDM rubber (FDA 177.1550 compliant). The SCP constant pressure valves are available in sizes from 1” to 2½”.
