Aseptic Diaphragm Valves, Weir Type – Manual & Pneumatically Operated

BioClean weir type diaphragm valves are particularly suitable for use in ultra-hygienic and aseptic applications. The valves, in their various configurations, are commonly used for shut-off, flow regulating and sampling duties. The diaphragm valve has a flexible diaphragm which is sandwiched between the body and the bonnet and acts as both the body seal and the seat seal. This design makes it ideally suited to aseptic applications as neither the product, nor any wetted part, comes into contact with the external environment. Maintenance requirements are minimal, and the top entry design means that there is no need to remove the valve from the pipework for service. When correctly installed weir type diaphragm valves are fully self-draining.
